The Schwinn upright bike 570U is an elegant, innovative fitness device with a wealth of features. 29 different training situations can be called upon with 25 resistance levels being available on the Schwinn 570U home trainer, modified by a motor-controlled magnetic brake. With the Quick Start switch, you can start training immediately. Twelve profile programmes (programmes with intervals) allow for varied training. Four programme banks can be saved for individual profiles. The home trainer offers two fitness tests and nine heart rate programmes to avoid overload and to complete the training within the optimal range - four for beginners, four for advanced athletes and one programme that can be used by a guest. With the heart rate programmes, the heart rate is measured on the hand, with two sensors in the handles determining the present frequency and transmitting it to the home trainer computer. The frequency can also be transmitted with a chest strap available as an accessory. Pads are embedded in the handle of the exercise bike to support the elbows, should you wish to ride in the triathlon stance.

Two wide rubbered feet and the relatively high weight (28.5kg) ensure a safe and slip-free position. Even at high speeds, the ergometer stays in place, with nothing wobbling nor moving! With the help of the two rollers integrated in the forefoot, the training device can be easily pushed. The saddle can be individually adjusted both in height and width, which is important for the correct step angle.

Extras for more comfortable training: the three-power fan, a large bottle holder and the sound system to which the MP3 player can be connected. The LCD display is backlit in blue and is characterised by its high contrast. Above the display are two speakers, connectable to an MP3 player.

Want to catch a film on the iPad or read a book on an eBook reader while exercising? No problem with the Schwinn 570U. The home trainer has a shelf for the tablet. Two LCD displays provide information about the data of the current workout. If the larger main display is covered by an eBook reader, for example, you can still read all the relevant data on the smaller info display. The ergometer's drive system works almost noiselessly and ensures a balanced, harmonious run without any jerking.

Workout variety with Explore the World

The Schwinn 570U home trainer is compatible with Explore the World, the ultimate and interactive training app that turns workouts into an experience! The app shows real routes as real HD video recordings on the iPad (or a TV set). For example, you can drive on the beach in Santa Monica or tackle the Swiss Alps and organize events with other people, seeing whether someone is using the route at the same time. It is also possible to take part in official events: all part of three-dimensional virtual reality paired with social networking!
