One the one hand, it's due to the cable pulls, which offer a perfect course of motion. The nylon coated cable is produced according to the US military norms. The rounded upholsteries offer an additional comfort, because all edges are stitched to avoid any crinkling of the material and hence to increase the durability. The thigh upholstery is very easy to adjust and can hence be adjusted to different user heights.
The weight block of Hammer Strength by Life Fitness is made of sturdy steel. The plug (11 cm in diameter) for fixing the weight plates is fixed in the hole thanks to a magnet and is still easy to adjust to vary quickly the training weight. All frame parts get an electro-static powder coating, which guarantees a maximum durability. Thanks to the aluminium covered handles, the lat pull bar ensures stability for each training session and is made of a rubber composite, which does not absorb any moisture and is hence wear-resistant. The provided weight block offers a total weight of 138kg (295 lbs).
The colour combination of upholstery and frame can be individually chosen for all products of the Select Series.
